  1. life saver

I have purchased a number of pairs of these tights and find them to be a life saver. I'm on my feet all day and these tights give my legs just the right compression that they just don't feel tired at the end of the day. I also have some light support ones which are fine when it's warmer out. My only objection is the fly I would hope some day it would be redesigned to be vertical and off center or just offer this style with no fly at all and it might be a little cheaper.
These are great under pants, but even more comfortable with shorts. I wear them with shorts in the early spring and fall hiking.
My wife also says I look.....Great in them.

  2. Never Wore Before

Posted by Unknown on 28 Jan 2012

I recently bought a pair of these plus a couple others to see what they are like. Reason being is I have gravitated away from cotton after, on several occasions, having to pull bloody cotton underwear away from my chafed skin after long hikes. So I went to nylon or micro fiber, sometime silk in order to not have that happen again. I also tried Under Armour leggings which I like, but they can be too warm at times and bulky. Have tried silk long johns and while nice they don't last and lose their shape quickly. Also, every time I pull up a sock I have to be careful so they don't role up under the sock.

So I thought I would try men's tights. I wouldn't have to keep pulling up my socks and the role-up problem would be gone when I add another layer of sock on top.

After 2 months of trying to convince myself to try them I did. First of all, the picture doesn't accurately represent the tights. It looks like they have a thicker material on the short and thinner on the leg. It is the opposite. The seam on the material making up the fly cuts into my inner thigh a little bit. Maybe a larger size would help. The material also goes all the way back to the butt for some reason I can't figure out [because if it ends at the crotch, a zone of weakness, it develops holes and runs quickly - Ed.]. Thicker material would be better back there for when sitting on cold seats.

They are nice for keeping cold pants from contacting your legs and they should last longer than silk.

They seem very feminine, but maybe I just have to wrap my mind around that after all these years of men's wardrobe being a certain way. I may or may not buy again.

  3. Great quality and price

I recently placed an order for several pair of the Thermofabric™ Full Support Tights with Fly and the Gerbe Drain-up Full Support Tights. Although the Gerbe are very well made and quite expensive, the Thermofabric tights fit better and are more than half the price. The Thermofabric tights have good coverage, great support, and a comfortable fits. Highly recommended!

  4. I love these things

I love them! They wear very well. They're really comfortable and great at keeping my legs warm... definitely money well spent for me!

  5. Great Tights

These are the most comfortable and supportive tights that I've found. Most tights don't provide leg support, but these are nice. They also glide under pants better than others. They're very durable and have lasted 20+ wearings. The are thick enough that you don't need to wear socks. The brief is very comfortable and you can't tell it's reinforced. They work well as a base layer.
